Tooth Ache Sonnet

Unacknowledged square pearls gleaming white

Enameled treasures, saliva glistening

When in a line and uniform all’s right

When pain occurs there will be no kissing.

Guarding the tongue, a fence made in two parts

Mandible and Maxilla keeping watch.

If aching arises some look to Scotch.

Problems ensue and then the call is made

An appointment with Satan is preferred

Doing what we can to comfort and aid

When appointment’s done speech will be slurred.

Now relief has set in and gratitude

Forgotten when cost effects attitude
