Dr. Urban once blogged about a dentist buying John Lennon’s tooth.  I didn’t think too much about the story until I heard about it again last month on WAMU’s, Moring Edition, with David Green who said, “A Canadian dentist bought one of John Lennon's molars at auction for $31,000. And now, Michael Zuk plans to use the tooth to clone the former Beatle. The DNA sequencing is already underway.”

Wow, this dentist is going to have John Lennon’s DNA. I wonder what he will do with it. Let’s say he could indeed clone John, what would the legal ramifications be? Would this clone be musically talented? I guess we’d really get to see the old nature vs. nurture argument play out in real life. Certainly leaves a lot to imagine.
