World on a String

Floss is a great tool for keeping teeth clean, but it’s also a pretty strong multiuse string. A prisoner in Charlestown, West Virginia used dental floss to escape!

floss heartI am not surprised as I am currently using floss as a ceiling fan cord. It works great and I am only using a double strand.  Floss braided into a rope as thick as a phone cord would be quite strong. I have used floss as string for many little things throughout the years. Recently I had a little wrench tied to a cabinet handle with floss so that I wouldn’t lose it.
